Could this be the best battle rifle of the Twentieth Century?
When I'm feeling the viking blood in my veins, I like to blast away with a great military surplus rifle from the land of ice and snow. This is the rifle that faced down the forces of Kaiser Wilhelm and Adolf Hitler and forced them to blink. The M96 Swedish Mauser is one of the best Mausers in the milsurp marketplace. My particular Swedish Mauser was made in 1916, fires 6.5x55mm ammunition, and is still very accurate. Since my uncle gave me this rifle as a gift, I will always value it. To read more about my Model 96 Swedish Mauser, see my review at Associated Content:

There is nothing like shooting a firearm that played a role in World War I, World War II, and other historic events. I'm pretty lucky to shoot a Swedish Mauser and Enfield No2 Mk1* Pistol. Military surplus firearms can be found regularly at gun shows, on consignment at gunshops, or in the pages of Shotgun News.

I found a couple of my favorite firearms being exercised out on Youtube. These videos should give you an idea of what to expect with a Swedish Mauser or Enfield No2 Mk1* .38 Caliber revolver. Of course, the coolest thing about both of these videos is that I think I'm a better shot.
