The tough economy has led to the rise of the .22!

In these tight economic times, shooters are rediscovering the .22! Gun magazines are filled with advertisements for .22 conversion kits and .22-caliber versions of various assault weapons. The .22 long rifle cartridge stops paper targets cold and is economical to shoot! You can shoot a single-shot .22 all day at the range for just a few dollars.
There are plenty of .22-caliber firearms in the marketplace and most are quite affordable. Since the .22 is all about hitting your target at the range, you don't have to go for tacti-cool gear and accessories. You can just get something that is accurate and fun to shoot. I enjoy my Marlin 25N Bolt Action Rifle and my wife's MagTech 7022. Both of these rifles sold for less than $200 and they both provide lots of fun at the range.
